Tigers live in a variety of habitats ๐ณ, including tropical forests, grasslands, and even swamps. They can be found in places like the Sundarbans mangrove forest in India and Bangladesh and the Siberian forests in Russia. Historically, tigers roamed through parts of Europe and their range was much larger. However, due to habitat loss, their distribution has shrunk greatly. Today, most tigers live in national parks and protected areas, where they can roam safely in their natural environment. Tigers prefer areas with plenty of cover where they can hide and ambush their prey.
