The Nile River is the most famous river in Sudan. π
It flows north from southern Sudan to Egypt, covering over 3,800 miles! The
Blue Nile and White Nile meet in Khartoum, making it an important location. Sudan also has other rivers, like the Atbara River, that flows into the Nile. In addition, Lake Nasser, which is mostly in Egypt, is partly in northern Sudan and is a significant water source. Lakes and rivers are crucial for farming, fishing, and drinking water in the country!
