One of the most interesting features of the Sargasso Sea is the beautiful blue color of its water. π
The water is deep, with some areas reaching more than 5,000 meters (about 16,404 feet) in depth! The seaweed, called sargassum, floats on the surface, creating a special habitat for many creatures. Unlike many other oceans, the Sargasso Sea has very little movement, which means it often feels calm and peaceful. This is a perfect place for small fish and baby sea turtles to hide from bigger animals! π π’
