Ramanuja was born to a family that practiced the Hindu faith. π
As a young boy, he was very curious and loved learning! He studied the Vedas and Upanishads, which are ancient Hindu texts. When he grew older, he became very interested in the teachings of Vishnu, a major Hindu god. One of his teachers was a wise man named Yadavaprakasha. However, he disagreed with some of his ideas, leading him to develop his own thoughts on devotion and spirituality! π
