Mount Chimborazo is the highest mountain in Ecuador, located in the Andes mountain range! 🏔
️ It stands at 6,263 meters (20,549 feet) tall! Interestingly, because of the Earth's shape, its summit is the closest point to the sun, even more so than Mount Everest! 🌞
The mountain is surrounded by the Chimborazo Fauna Production Reserve, making the area rich in wildlife. The name "Chimborazo" comes from the Quechua language, meaning "cold water" or "mountain of snow." Visiting Chimborazo, you can see beautiful glaciers and learn about local plants and animals! 🌨
