The limpkin is a unique bird often found in wetlands and swamps in the southeastern

This bird looks a bit like a crane but has its own special features! Limpkins are known for their long legs, long necks, and curved bills. They usually stand about 30 inches tall. These amazing birds love to make loud, wailing calls, especially during the night. π
Their scientific name is *Aramus guarauna*, and they are easily recognized by their brownish feathers with white spots!
