Lev Yashin grew up in a working-class family in Moscow. His father was a factory worker, and his mother was a homemaker. As a kid, Yashin loved sports, especially soccer! ⚽
He played in the streets with his friends and later joined a local team. Sadly, he also worked in a factory in his youth, which helped him learn to be disciplined and hardworking. During World War II, there were many challenges, but he never gave up on his dream of becoming a soccer player!
