Hot springs happen when rainwater seeps deep into the ground. ☔
️ As it goes deeper, the earth's heat warms the water! Eventually, this hot water finds a way back to the surface through cracks in the rocks. This is called hydrothermal activity! 🔥
Sometimes, it can create colorful pools, like in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, where the ground is very thin, allowing the hot water to escape easily. The water then flows out, creating a steamy hot spring! 💧
Isn't it amazing how nature works?
