Fred Hoyle grew up in a small town called Bingley, West Yorkshire. As a child, he loved reading, especially about science and space. ๐
After finishing school, he went to college at the University of Cambridge, where he studied math and natural sciences. He was very curious and asked many questions about how the universe worked. Hoyle earned his degree in 1939 and during World War II, he worked on radar technology, which helped the British military. His early experiences shaped him into a great scientist! ๐
