Eustreptospondylus lived in a lush environment full of plants and other animals. π³
The area where it lived, now part of England, was covered with ferns, conifers, and flowering plants during the Jurassic period. This habitat provided plenty of food and hiding places for dinosaurs. Fossils found in the famous Oxford Clay formation suggest that these dinosaurs thrived in warm, humid conditions near lakes and
rivers. Their fossils have mostly been discovered in England, but scientists continue to look for more clues about where else they might have lived!
