Confucius, originally named Kong Qiu, 👶
was born in 551 BCE in the city of Qufu. He came from a noble family that fell on hard times. Even as a young boy, he loved learning and studied many subjects like history, music, and poetry. He had a famous saying, "Ignorance is the night of the mind, but a night without moon and star." 🌙 After he became an adult, he worked as a teacher and soon gathered many students. Confucius’s teachings focused on morality and how to be a good leader, which made him famous in ancient China. 🌟
