One cool thing about the Chamorro language is that it uses some sounds that are not in
English, which can be fun to pronounce! For example, "Γ" sounds like the βnyβ in "canyon." Basic phrases, like "HΓ₯fa Adai!" (Hello!) and "Si Yu'os Ma'Γ₯se!" (Thank you!), are easy for kids to learn! Speaking Chamorro helps us connect with the land and the people who live there! π
